Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager / Health and Safety Specialist / Environmental Compliance Officer to join our team at Verto People. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and implementing quality, health and safety, and environmental strategies across our manufacturing and engineering operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and implement quality, health and safety, and environmental strategies to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
  • Manage the quality budget and be accountable for all financial matters relating to quality, health and safety, and environment
  • Oversee the quality management system (QMS) and ensure ISO compliance
  • Manage health and safety protocols, including ISO 45001 and fire safety
  • Implement and maintain the ISO 14001 environmental management system
  • Handle customer returns and complaints, ensuring timely resolution and satisfaction

Requirements:

  • Experience in leading and managing quality, health and safety, and environmental strategies, including overseeing the quality budget and financial accountability
  • Proven experience in managing a quality management system (QMS) within a manufacturing or engineering environment
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 standards
  • Proficiency in quality tools such as 5Y, 8D, FMEA or similar
  • Ability to drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance
