About the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Solicitor to join our team. As a Construction Solicitor, you will be responsible for managing a varied caseload of contentious and non-contentious construction matters, including litigation, arbitration, adjudication, and mediation.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a caseload of construction disputes, including defects, delays, payment issues, and contract breaches.
- Advise clients on construction law and provide guidance on procurement routes, project risk management, and contract administration.
- Draft and review pleadings, witness statements, and expert reports.
- Represent clients in court, arbitration, and adjudication hearings.
- Engage in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution (ADR) processes.
- Experience in construction law, with a focus on contentious and non-contentious matters.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
