About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our school facilities. This will involve safely operating manual and electric cleaning equipment, using chemicals and cleaning materials safely, and ensuring compliance with statutory hygiene and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the site
  • Safely operate manual and electric cleaning equipment, following Health & Safety guidelines
  • Use chemicals and cleaning materials safely, ensuring adherence to PPE and safety regulations
  • Ensure compliance with statutory hygiene and safety regulations, including the correct use of safety signage
  • Maintain cleaning equipment and cupboards to school standards of hygiene and safety
  • Report hazards, defects, or equipment breakdowns to the Supervisor
  • Participate in any relevant training for the Cleaning Assistant role
  • Perform additional duties as required by the School Principals across any Claires Court premises
