Job Title: Principal Civil Engineer

AECOM's Manchester office is seeking a highly skilled Principal Civil Engineer to join their team. As a key member of the infrastructure development team, you will be responsible for leading the design and delivery of complex civil infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of engineers and technicians to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Provide technical expertise in highways, drainage, and associated infrastructure design and project management.
  • Develop and implement business development strategies to win new business within the unit.
Requirements:
  • Significant experience in UK development-related infrastructure engineering, preferably from a private/consultancy background.
  • Civil Engineering degree or equivalent, with Chartered Civil Engineer status or approaching Chartered status (MICE).
  • Proven knowledge and skills in the design of highways, access roads, and project infrastructure, including road geometry, earthworks, pavements, drainage, and underground services.
