Key Responsibilities

In this pivotal position, you will support the Head of IFRS17 in overseeing the daily operations of the IFRS17 team, which encompasses both IFRS17 Operations and Reporting.

Your extensive technical expertise in IFRS17, combined with practical experience in applying it to Financial Reporting within the general insurance sector, will be instrumental in enhancing processes and collaborating with various departments, such as Actuarial.

You will possess the authority and drive to engage with senior stakeholders and play a vital role in finance-related initiatives, including finance modernization.


  • Overseeing the preparation of quarterly and annual results for Brit Group Ltd, ensuring the provision of necessary IFRS17 results to relevant stakeholders.
  • Managing the development of the IFRS17 components within the OneStream reporting framework.
  • Providing detailed explanations of the components of the IFRS17 results, including quarter-on-quarter changes and peer comparisons.
  • Offering technical knowledge, guidance, and expertise on all aspects of IFRS17 accounting to the organization.
You will be a qualified accountant with substantial post-qualification experience in the general insurance industry. A proven track record of delivering high-quality results within tight deadlines is essential.

Proficiency in IT and experience in utilizing, developing, and implementing general ledger and consolidation software packages are required.
