Location: Peterlee Office
We're looking for a highly skilled Service Advisor Collections to join our dynamic team in Peterlee. As a key player, you'll be responsible for contacting legal partners and business customers on a daily basis and managing the collections process from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:- Liaise with third-party debt partners to resolve outstanding debt
- Proactively chase and collect outstanding debt on assigned ledgers
- Implement payment plans with business customers to ensure timely payments
- Resolve invoice queries in a timely manner
- Liaise with the wider finance and commercial teams to resolve queries and issues on overdue debt
- Provide weekly reporting on account and ledger status
- Escalate problematic accounts to the Collections and Recovery Manager as required
- Experience within a Collections/Credit Control role in a high-volume environment
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and numeracy skills
- Ability to prioritise and manage own workload
- Effective communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
