Apprentice Temperature Control Specialist

We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as an Apprentice Temperature Control Engineer. As a key member of our service centre team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our temperature control equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Service and repair a diverse fleet of specialist temperature control equipment, including fluid chillers, pumps, heat exchangers, and air handling equipment.
- Inspect and performance test a wide range of equipment in preparation for hire.
- Assess equipment to ensure compliance with operational and safety guidelines.
- Diagnose and rectify faults, and perform effective repairs.
- Order replacement parts and fit them correctly, within specified time scales.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive service and maintenance records.
- Develop in-depth product knowledge and become an expert in the field of temperature control.
- Participate in project management meetings and customer site visits.
- Build excellent working relationships with customers and understand their business needs and requirements.
- Become an ambassador for our "Customer First" culture, resolving issues quickly and keeping colleagues and customers informed.
- Expand your team working skills with colleagues and the wider Sunbelt Rentals team.
- Manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced operational environment.
You will be completing a level 3 Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Heat Pump Engineering Technician Apprenticeship Standard. This will be delivered using a combination of workplace experience, guidance and training from an experienced workplace mentor, and industry-recognised training leading to an apprenticeship qualification.
About YouWe are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, motivated to learn new skills, and has a responsible behaviour. You should be able to work in a team, have good written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions. Initiative and a flexible and adaptable approach are also essential. Ideally, you will have at least five GCSE or equivalent qualifications at Grade 4 or above, including Maths and English.
