Non-Medical Independent Nurse Prescriber

We are seeking a highly motivated and competent staff member to join the East Neurodevelopmental Team as a Non-Medical Prescriber. The successful candidate will have a relevant level of experience and education, as well as the appropriate training and qualifications in prescribing.
Main DutiesThe team provides assessment and intervention for children and young people with neurodevelopmental conditions, including Autism Spectrum Disorder and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the work with ADHD assessments and will have experience in working with neurodevelopmental conditions and children.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be supported by the team and the current experienced non-medical prescribers. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable, but not essential. English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Person SpecificationThe successful candidate will have:
- Qualified Nurse in Children's, adult, Learning Disabilities or Mental health
- Evidence of Continuing Professional Development at level 7 (Masters level) through formal qualifications or equivalent experience in an area of practice relevant to this post
- Safeguarding Training
- Qualified Independent Nurse Prescriber
Desirable qualifications include experience in prescribing ADHD medication and knowledge of neurodevelopmental conditions.
