Job Opportunity: Vehicle Electrical Technician

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Vehicle Electrical Technician to join a team at Gibson Search, specializing in the conversion of electrical and diesel forklift trucks, as well as the production of oil and gas engine packages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize electrical technician skills gained in panel, automotive, marine, or motorcycle electrical wiring to contribute to the team's success.
  • Work on bespoke or low-volume electrical projects, requiring a strong understanding of electrical systems and technical drawings.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure high-quality work and adherence to quality assurance standards.
  • Participate in Zone 1 and Zone 2 conversions, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement proactive problem-solving strategies to overcome technical challenges.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience in a bespoke or low-volume electrical role.
  • Sound knowledge of panel or automotive, marine, or other vehicle electrical wiring.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings and processes.
  • Strong team work ethic and a willingness to learn.
