Job Opportunity: Senior Civil Engineer/Civil Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Civil Engineer or Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bristol. As a key member of our Civil & Structural team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality projects and contributing to the growth and success of our business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with our multi-disciplinary team to deliver projects across various sectors.
  • Develop and implement innovative design solutions using industry-standard software.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and budget adherence.
  • Contribute to work-winning strategies, budgetary control, and fee proposal preparation.
  • Mentor and support emerging team members to maintain technical excellence.
  • Participate in design office environments, site meetings, and progress reporting.
  • Effective communication and liaison with clients, architects, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
Requirements:
  • BEng, MEng, BSc, MSc, HND, or HNC civil engineering qualification.
  • Significant experience in design office environments, with working knowledge of Section 104, 278, and 38 adoption procedures.
  • Excellent analysis and technical design skills in AutoCAD, PDS, Civils3D, and MicroDrainage.
  • Good understanding of technical software, including Civil 3D, AutoTrack, and industry-standard software.
  • Experience working with residential developers and knowledge of UK planning procedures.
  • Ability to secure technical approvals from highway and drainage authorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated team player with good people skills.
