We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Director to join our team at Vistry Group PLC. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing and supporting the control and delivery of construction projects to meet client specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the delivery of construction projects to meet client specifications, including safety, quality, cost, and time.
- Develop and implement project plans, including procurement and design, to ensure successful project delivery.
- Manage and lead a team of construction professionals, including site managers, engineers, and other support staff.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure effective project communication and delivery.
- Monitor and control project costs, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, including health and safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure effective project delivery and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction project management, with a strong track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of construction professionals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex project issues.
- Knowledge of construction laws, regulations, and industry standards, including health and safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with multiple projects and stakeholders.
