Job Title: Principal Network Engineer

Job Summary:

Leonardo is seeking a highly skilled Principal Network Engineer to join our team. As a subject matter expert, you will be responsible for designing and implementing complex network solutions, ensuring the security and integrity of our systems and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement network solutions to meet complex customer requirements
  • Contribute to architectural documentation and high-level system designs
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to other system engineers and technical architects
  • Participate in key technical review events during the systems development life-cycle
  • Engage with clients, peers, and third-party delivery partners to ensure technical alignment
  • Support the Senior Management Team with business development activities

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in network engineering, with a strong understanding of network and systems infrastructure technologies
  • Excellent knowledge of networking protocols and technologies, including IPsec, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, QoS, MPLS, and VoIP
  • Cisco certification (minimum CCNA)
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic, and network analytics tools
  • Understanding of cloud technologies and concepts
  • Mastery of networking services and components, including local and wide area networking, and Cisco networking to CCNP level
