Gregory Distribution is seeking a dedicated and experienced Class 2 Tanker Driver to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a vital part in our waste management operations, ensuring the efficient collection and delivery of liquid sludge throughout the South West region.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Operate a Class 2 (C) tanker vehicle to collect and transport liquid waste materials.
  • Plan and execute daily routes, adhering to strict safety regulations and time constraints.
  • Maintain clear communication with the transport team and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
  • Provide exceptional customer service both in person and over the phone, ensuring a positive experience for all stakeholders.
  • Conduct routine vehicle checks and maintain accurate records of mileage and fuel consumption.

Requirements:

  • Valid UK Class 2 (C) Licence with a clean driving record.
  • Current Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC) Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
  • Experience operating vacuum tankers and handling waste water is highly desirable.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
  • A comprehensive understanding of road safety regulations and best practices.
