Job Title: Mechanical Planning Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Planning Coordinator to join our team at Consortium Professional Recruitment. As a Mechanical Planning Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the ongoing proactive efforts to maintain site operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review work orders and liaise with the Technical Team as required
  • Carry out field checks when needed
  • Identify task parts, tools, activities, and equipment necessary to complete job orders
  • Prepare work packs, detailing parts, resource, duration, and costs updating the CMMS accordingly
  • Prepare Risk Assessment Method Statement (RAMS)
  • Prepare Permit Request
  • Maintain the CMMS to plan all maintenance and engineering work
  • Plan work to fill scheduled allotted periods making the most effective and efficient use of available resources
  • Plan On Site and Off Site maintenance disciplines
  • Liaise with Maintenance, Stores, and Procurement for materials and spares
  • Perform data closure quality check for Works Orders and ensure hours are recorded accordingly
  • Investigate CMMS metrics and generate reports
  • Create outage and shutdown planned work as necessary
  • Manage weekly and monthly KPI's
  • Work closely with external support contractors
Requirements:
  • NVQ level 3 Qualified
  • Exposure to an upper tier COMAH site
  • Previous maintenance planning experience
  • CMMS systems knowledge
  • Able to follow OEM manuals
  • Knowledge of reading data sheets and various other drawings
