Job Overview:

We are seeking an eager candidate to join our team as an apprentice. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable skills, knowledge, and experience as you complete a Business Analyst Level 4 Apprenticeship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather and document business requirements and processes, facilitating communication between stakeholders and technical teams to ensure a clear understanding of requirements and expectations.
  • Analyse business processes, customer requirements, and our systems to identify areas for improvement, optimisation, and automation.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Energy sector trends, SaaS market innovations, and 3rd party software provider updates, incorporating new technologies and features into proposed solutions.
  • Monitor competitor capabilities and new features, as well as gaining insights into UIs and reports.
  • Extract, corroborate, and analyse data to identify trends and patterns that can assist in decision making.
  • Assist in the development of test cases and conduct user acceptance testing to verify that the developed solution meets the specified requirements.
  • Support change management and transformation projects to help stakeholders adapt to new processes, systems, or organisational changes resulting from projects.
  • Support the testing and development teams while promoting a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for enhancing processes and systems.

Desirable Skills:

  • Basic understanding of business analysis principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Solid time management and prioritisation with the ability to set effective and achievable deadlines.

Personal Qualities:

  • Empathy, emotional intelligence, and excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • An enthusiasm for learning and adapting to new technologies.
  • Ability to work well as an individual as well as in a team.

Entry Requirements:

  • Level 3 Qualification + at least 12 months of work experience* + robust onboarding plan (learner must work in the organisation for 3 months before signing up).
  • OR business-related degree (e.g., business, finance, economics, maths, etc.).
  • OR non-business-related degree + at least 6 months of work experience*.
  • OR existing staff member with 2+ years of work experience**.
