Position Summary:
We are excited to announce a new opportunity within our Finance department located in St Albans for a Global Tax Strategy Manager. To thrive in this position, you should possess a passion for enhancing processes and resolving challenges. This role calls for a decisive leader who understands the broader implications of their choices and their potential consequences.
As part of a team of committed professionals, you will take charge of the international tax strategy, contributing to various business initiatives, particularly in providing insights on new international market entry, acquisitions, and the integration of newly acquired entities. In your capacity as the Global Tax Strategy Manager, you will facilitate M&A support during due diligence processes, including offering guidance on post-acquisition integration.

Key Qualifications:
- Qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CTA) with experience in international taxation
- Proactive and forward-thinking with a practical approach to problem-solving
- Comprehensive knowledge of finance and systems, including Accounts Payable/Receivable, Financial Control, Reporting, and Commercial Expenditure
- Ability to influence, persuade, and communicate effectively across all organizational levels
- Determined to see tasks through to completion
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the FMCG sector, particularly in dealings with major UK retailers
- Previous exposure to M&A activities
- Experience in establishing tax processes for new business locations
