About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Rehabilitation Psychiatrist to join our team at Avon & Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and expertise in the care of patients with complex mental health needs, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical expertise and leadership in the care of patients with complex mental health needs.
  • Work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care and services.
  • Develop and implement service improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development of clinical policies and guidelines to ensure best practice in rehabilitation psychiatry.
  • Participate in educational and training activities to support the development of junior staff and students.
Requirements
  • MB BS or equivalent medical qualification.
  • Full registration with the GMC and a licence to practise.
  • Approved clinician status and S12 approval.
  • Experience of working in a rehabilitation psychiatry setting and providing clinical leadership.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
