Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Retail Security Specialist to join our team at Momentum Security Recruitment. As a Retail Security Specialist, you will be responsible for providing a safe and secure environment for staff and visitors, while also acting as a uniformed visual deterrent to shoplifters and security incidents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a customer-focused security presence
  • Ensure a safe and secure environment for staff and visitors
  • Act as a uniformed visual deterrent to shoplifters and security incidents
  • Follow the ASCONE principle
  • Meet and greet customers in a friendly manner
  • Conduct security patrols of the store
  • Work closely with store associates and the Store Manager
  • Conduct internal investigations into stock loss, fraud, and theft
  • Monitor CCTV and security systems
  • Key holding
  • Report all security incidents in the store
  • Staff searches
  • Retail security duties

Requirements:

  • Fully flexible to work 5 out of 7 days, including some weekends
  • Hardworking and self-motivated
  • Good time management and able to work under pressure
  • Customer-focused
  • Ideal candidate will have retail security officer, retail store, or loss prevention experience or experience as a store detective
