Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a French Speaking Underwriting Support Specialist. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a close-knit team, collaborate with clients in France, and contribute to the growth of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with a team of 8, with options for homeworking
  • Administer client files efficiently and maintain accurate records
  • Prepare and assist in compiling statistics for policy renewal analysis
  • Input data into internal underwriting systems accurately and timely
  • Liaise with clients in France and teammates in the UK or Belgium
  • Support the preparation of new business submissions and other documents
  • Monitor the status of current and new business
  • Support underwriting activities as needed
Requirements
  • Fluency in French and very good command of English
  • 1-2 years of experience in insurance (ideally property insurance)
  • Strong administrative background
  • Quick learning abilities and a proactive attitude
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel
  • Experience in processing documents and managing files
  • Capacity to learn new procedures and software systems
  • Accuracy in all tasks
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Positive, proactive, patient, and diligent attitude
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Experience in a professional environment
