About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Pharmacist Specialist to join our Respiratory team at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality clinical pharmacy services to our patients with respiratory conditions.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide advanced clinical pharmacy services to patients with respiratory conditions, including optimising medication regimens and ensuring effective discharge planning.
  • Collaborate with consultants and other healthcare professionals to promote medicines optimisation, antimicrobial stewardship, and effective discharge planning.
  • Develop and implement medicines and service-related policies for the respiratory specialty.
  • Train and educate pharmacy staff and other healthcare professionals on respiratory care and medication management.

Person Specification
  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
  • Diploma/MSc in clinical pharmacy or equivalent qualification or experience.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • Experience in undertaking, supervising, and reporting/presenting audit/research work at local (Trust) level.
