Job SummaryWe're seeking a skilled and caring Nursery Assistant to join our team. As a Nursery Assistant, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day care and support to children in nurseries across the local area. This is a fantastic opportunity to enhance your knowledge and experience in childcare and education.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure the safety, happiness, and stimulation of children in your care
- Communicate effectively with children using play-based approaches
- Support children's development and learning
- Create a nurturing and child-friendly environment
- Maintain toys and play equipment to ensure a safe and healthy environment
- Keep accurate records of children's progress and development
To be successful in this role, you will need to hold a relevant qualification in childcare and education, such as an NVQ level 2/3 or CACHE level 3 diploma. You will also need to be able to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, and be committed to providing high-quality care and support to children.
