Key Responsibilities:

  • As a member of the production team, the Precision Assembly Specialist will construct and assemble specialized equipment that demands high precision and quality craftsmanship.
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and healthy workplace while adhering to company policies and regulations.
  • Monitor, maintain, and repair equipment as necessary, fostering effective communication with the production supervisor.
  • Document and update results related to various testing and inspection processes in accordance with product specifications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Equivalent qualifications such as a BTEC Level 2 Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or NVQ Level 3 or higher.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering schematics.
  • Understanding and adherence to standard operational procedures.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Capability to operate automated machinery, utilize basic hand tools, and lift weights up to 25Kg.
  • Familiarity with drilling processes is advantageous.
  • Proficient in computer applications such as Word and Excel.
  • A proactive learner, eager to develop a diverse skill set.
  • Organizational skills are essential.
  • Knowledge of UK Health & Safety regulations and workshop safety practices.
