Position Overview

Falcon Chase International is seeking an experienced Java Fullstack Engineer to join our dedicated L3 Service Support Team, contributing to a high-security Government initiative.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct analysis, resolution, and coordination of live defects while collaborating closely with the development team.
  • Ensure operational stability through proactive health checks and daily monitoring.
  • Perform thorough Root Cause Analysis on various issues, driving them to resolution.
  • Utilize systematic approaches to triage, investigate, diagnose, and provide effective workarounds or solutions for both technical and functional challenges.
  • Take full ownership of all inquiries and issues, escalating to relevant departments for resolution and ensuring follow-through until completion.
  • Adhere to established response and resolution time SLAs.
  • Collaborate with a distributed team of developers, analysts, and business stakeholders across all levels.
  • Demonstrate the ability to quickly grasp new concepts, alongside strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Java 8 or later.
  • Experience in writing JUnit tests.
  • Hands-on expertise with Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
  • Familiarity with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL.
  • Proficient in using Git and Jenkins.
  • Understanding of microservices architecture.
  • Knowledge of AWS services, including ECS, EKS, S3, and SQS.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs.
  • Understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CICD) practices.
  • Good grasp of Kubernetes.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with Docker, JavaScript frameworks such as ReactJS and NodeJS.
  • Familiarity with AWS API Gateway and serverless technologies.
  • Experience with message brokers like Apache Kafka and BPM frameworks.
  • Background in large-scale integration projects involving messaging, web services, and distributed systems.
  • Knowledge of ELK stack and OpenStack platforms.
  • Experience in Agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
