Job Title: Director of Data Management

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Director of Data Management to join our team at Veramed. As a key member of our Operational Management Team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing data management strategies that drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement data management budgets to deliver business strategy and monitor spend
  • Determine resource needs and recruitment requirements
  • Help set the strategic direction and identify opportunities for efficiencies and automation
  • Identify data management training needs
  • Business accountability for specific business units
  • Responsible for data management deliverables within specific business units
  • Target minimum levels of profitability for projects
  • Business development for specific business units
  • Support marketing needs
  • Support BD activities
  • Represent the company at industry conferences
  • Project-level input for specific business units

Requirements:

  • BSc, MSc, or PhD in a scientific discipline or relevant industry experience
  • At least 10 years of relevant industry experience
  • Understanding of clinical drug development process and relevant disease areas
  • Awareness of industry and project standards and ICH guidelines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with Rave and/or Medrio
  • CDISC experience
  • Interpersonal/teamwork skills
  • Self-management skills
  • Demonstrated problem-solving ability and attention to detail
  • Global leadership experience managing teams and/or projects
