About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Accountant - Group Operations to join our team at Michael Page Finance. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial activities of our industrial and manufacturing clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: Develop and coordinate the central process for reviewing and reporting financial results, ensuring alignment with group and parent company objectives.
  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure adherence to financial regulations and standards, maintaining a high level of integrity and transparency.
  • Financial Analysis: Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, providing insightful analysis and recommendations for strategic decision-making.
  • Strategic Planning: Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes, contributing to the development of business strategies and initiatives.
  • Financial Performance Management: Monitor financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions to optimize financial outcomes.
  • Financial Planning and Budgeting: Manage budgeting and forecasting activities, ensuring accurate financial projections and resource allocation.
Requirements
  • Professional Qualifications: Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) and relevant industry experience.
  • Industry Expertise: Strong understanding of financial processes and regulations in the industrial and manufacturing sectors.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide high-performing teams.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in using financial software and Microsoft Office suite, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
