Draughtsman - Permanent Position

The Recruitment Co is seeking a skilled Draughtsman to join our client in Sandbach on a permanent basis. As a key member of the design team, you will be responsible for creating innovative and cost-effective design solutions for our client's products.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop concept and design drawings for product development, working closely with project architects and site surveys.
- Research and gather information from project managers and design briefs to create a fully representative 3D model.
- Review and analyze site structural constraints to develop compliant and cost-effective solutions using balustrade systems.
- Utilize structural calculation spreadsheets to validate bespoke fixing scenarios and ensure compliance prior to issue.
- Creatively contribute to reducing installation times through quality and accuracy of designs, clarity of information, and developing balustrade systems.
- Upon approval, create further drawings, parts lists, and 3D files to support procurement, production, and installation teams.
- 3 years of CAD experience, ideally with 3D CAD software (Solid Edge, Solid Works, Inventor).
- Experience in the construction industry, with a strong understanding of design principles and construction methods.
- A positive, proactive approach, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Logical thinking, with a strong math background and practical experience in construction.
- A desire for personal development and a personal time and task management system.
