Chroma Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Principal Software Compliance Engineer to join a large organization in the heart of the industry.
This role is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead a small software team and work alongside electronics and FPGA engineers in a multi-disciplined R&D team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for writing embedded code, driving firmware development, and documentation within ECSS standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement software compliance solutions for complex projects
- Lead a small software team and collaborate with electronics and FPGA engineers
- Write and maintain high-quality embedded code and firmware documentation
- Ensure compliance with ECSS standards and industry regulations
- Develop and implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project success
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in software compliance engineering
- Strong knowledge of bare metal embedded C and Python programming
- Experience with coding to MISRA C or equivalent standards
- VHDL FPGA code experience (desirable)
- Proficiency in Jira and Git
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools
- Aerospace or space industry experience
