Fire Safety Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Fire Safety Engineer to join our team at Penguin Recruitment. As a Fire Safety Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of people and property from fire-related hazards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop fire strategies and performance-based designs, supported by fire and evacuation modelling, risk analysis, and cost-benefit analysis
  • Liaise with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration
  • Produce fire safety engineering reports that meet client expectations and contractual obligations
  • Review design information, such as drawings and documents, to ensure compliance with fire safety regulations
  • Resolve fire engineering concerns by applying accepted principles, codes, and standards
Requirements:
  • Degree in Engineering (Fire, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Structural, or similar)
  • Full UK Driving License
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Computer Literate, with experience in Blue Beam, Microsoft, CAD, and Smoke modelling software
  • Ability to travel within the UK and overseas
  • Qualifications paid, such as the Institution of Fire Engineers or National Fire Protection Association (NFPA)
