Electronics Design Engineer - Mid-Senior Level Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Design Engineer to join our dynamic Research & Development team specializing in cutting-edge vehicle technology and tools. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in developing innovative products in the automotive sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead projects through the entire product design lifecycle, from concept to production.
  • Design circuits, including schematics and PCB layouts, using CadStar / eCadStar / CAD tools.
  • Work closely with teams across mechanical design, software development, and production.
  • Ensure all designs comply with relevant automotive standards such as EMC and low voltage safety.
  • Conduct hands-on testing, verification, and fault analysis down to component level.
  • Design and implement functional test rigs for in-house use.
  • Collaborate with the purchasing team to advise on component selection and stay informed on market trends.
Desired Qualifications:
  • 3-5+ years of experience in embedded systems design, preferably within the automotive or similar industry.
  • Proven expertise in PCB design, including mixed analogue, digital, and RF circuits.
  • Experience in microcontroller-based system design.
  • Proficiency in CadStar and/or eCadStar CAD packages.
  • Familiarity with National Instruments LabView and I/O equipment is a plus.
  • A degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field.
