About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our team at Age UK's Chandlers Ford shop. As a valued member of our retail team, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional shopping experience to our customers while contributing to the successful day-to-day running of the shop.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring that every customer has a great shopping experience
  • Support with sales, stock rotation, and store displays to maximise shop sales and profits
  • Assist with handling and lifting bags of stock (up to 10kgs)
  • Represent Age UK in a professional manner and reflect our core values
  • Work effectively as part of a team and lone work when needed

Requirements
  • Experience in working in a customer-facing role
  • Experience of cash handling
  • Ability to lift and carry bags of stock up to 10kg's
  • Ability to work as part of an effective team
  • Ability to demonstrate sensitivity to cultural differences and gender issues, as well as commitment to equal opportunities
Additional Information
