We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Highway Engineer to join our team at ZipRecruiter. As a Senior Highway Engineer, you will be responsible for leading specialized highway engineering tasks, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency are met throughout each project.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Oversee the waterproofing of bridge decks and resurfacing projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  2. Manage parapet renewals, testing, and investigative work across the network, collaborating closely with the project team to plan and execute works.
  3. Collaborate with the project team to plan and execute night shift works, ensuring project success and meeting deadlines.
  4. Work from our office during the day, with some ad hoc site visits at night to ensure project success.

Requirements

  1. Extensive experience in highways engineering, particularly with infrastructure maintenance and repair.
  2. Relevant industry qualification (HND/HNC/BEng) and up-to-date SMSTS qualification.
