We are seeking an experienced and reliable Live-in HousekeeperCook to join our lovely family based in Hawkley, Hampshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our household and assisting with family cooking.
The ideal candidate will be a confident cook who enjoys preparing meals and is happy to assist with family cooking. You will also be responsible for all housekeeping duties, including laundry, washing, ironing, wardrobe management, flower arranging, and liaising with contractors.
Additional duties will include:
- Care of fine art, silver, and antiques
- Assistance with dog walking and feeding
- Some light garden duties, including watering of the Courtyard garden, Greenhouse veg garden, sweeping of the Courtyard garden, and entry porches
- Coverage/ control of the main house, cottage, and dogs when the family travels
A confident driver is essential as the role requires you to run errands, carry out airport runs, and do the food shopping. A car will be provided for work purposes.
The family has horses, ponies, and dogs, so it is essential that you are comfortable around animals.
Working hours are Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm with occasional weekend assistance if the family is entertaining.
Accommodation is provided in the form of a lovely two-bedroom cottage (utilities paid). Pets may be considered.
Salary on offer is 40k gross per annum depending on experience.
