Job Overview
Chroma Recruitment is seeking an experienced Home Manager to lead a residential elderly care home. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dementia care and experience working with the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the care home, ensuring high-quality care and a safe environment for residents.
- Work closely with the Senior Management Team to develop and implement care plans and policies.
- Manage a team of care staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent care delivery.
- Collaborate with external partners, such as healthcare professionals and local authorities, to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 5 (or working towards) in care management or a related field.
- Proven experience in dementia care, with a strong understanding of CQC regulations and guidelines.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
