Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Class 1 Tramper Driver to join our team at Gregory Distribution. As a Class 1 Tramper Driver, you will be responsible for planning routes, delivering loads, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute daily routes to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
  • Operate a range of vehicles, including trampers, to transport goods across the UK.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Work closely with the transport team to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Manage working time and driver hours to comply with legislation and company policies.
  • Attend regular training sessions to maintain and improve skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Hold a valid UK HGV Class 1 CE Licence.
  • Hold a current DCPC Card and UK Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
  • Have experience of refrigerated trailers, although full training will be provided.
  • Be passionate about providing excellent customer service.
  • Be able to work to deadlines and manage time effectively.
  • Be confident, polite, and a team player.
  • Have good geographical knowledge and be able to navigate effectively.
  • Be fit, flexible, hardworking, and self-motivated.
