Income Officer Role

We are seeking a skilled Income Officer to join our team at Stonewater. As an Income Officer, you will play a crucial role in assisting customers with rent and service charge payments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contact customers to resolve payment issues and provide support to help them find solutions to their debt problems.
  • Offer advice and guidance to customers to ensure they are clear on the steps to take to resolve their debt issues.
  • Work closely with customers to understand their financial situations and provide tailored support to help them manage their payments.
Requirements:
  • Experience in collections within a social housing environment.
  • Knowledge of the benefits system, including Housing Benefit and Universal Credit.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Self-motivation and a strong desire to provide exceptional customer service.
Interview Process:

The interview process will consist of two stages: a role-play exercise with an Income Team Leader and a values and competency-based interview via MS Teams.
