We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Service Engineer to join our nationwide team. As a Mechanical Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and inspection of large liquified petroleum gas vessels.
Key Responsibilities- Install, inspect, and maintain large liquified petroleum gas vessels
- Perform technical installations, inspections, and maintenance of above and underground distribution pipework
- Joint, install, and connect all types of liquified petroleum gas pipework and equipment
- Conduct routine maintenance work at clients' storage depots and industrial customer plants
- Install pipework, pumps, vaporisers, and auxiliary equipment at customer sites
- Must be gas safe registered - ACOX qualified
- Knowledge of liquified petroleum gas in both liquid and vapour phase, safe working, and a strong understanding of isometric plant layout drawings
- Knowledge of pipework assembly, including flanged and screwed joints
- Ability to work away from home approximately 75% of the time
- Liquified petroleum gas experience as a mechanical engineer
- Experience as a mechanical engineer in gas from industrial/commercial industries
- LPG/ACS qualification
- Mechanical engineering qualifications
- Salary: £28,000 - £38,000 per annum
- Company pension

- Approximately £15,000 per annum in overtime
