Job Title: SEN Home Teacher

We are seeking a compassionate and patient teacher to provide 1-1 tuition for young people who are not in education. Our tuition is mostly 1:1 and is in the young person's home, due to the children we work with mostly being out of education.

About the Role

We are looking for a teacher who is either retired and looking to work part-time or a teacher looking to use their skills outside of the classroom environment to make a difference for children in the local area. Our support varies from 1 hour to 15 hours a week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support in English, Maths, and Life Skills to prepare students for transition back to school
  • Work with students aged 4-19 in any age group of preference
  • Travel between students for each session, with access to your own vehicle highly desirable
Requirements
  • Qualified teacher with QTS or similar qualification
  • Experienced tutor
  • Confident planning and preparing lessons and resources
  • Resilience, patience, and compassion
