Job Title: 3D AutoCAD Design Manager

Are you a seasoned professional looking for a new challenge in compliance documentation? You'll have the opportunity to support key projects that make a real impact.

As a pivotal member of the Pre-Construction Team, you will oversee the entire Pre-Construction process from feasibility to detailed design across a diverse range of projects within the Aspire Defence Services Limited footprint.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Chairing design co-ordination meetings to ensure the overall Contract Programme is adhered to.
  • Undertaking design risk assessments in compliance with CDM regulations to ensure project safety and success.
  • Regular monitoring and reporting on project progress, ensuring designs meet relevant standards and specifications.
  • Supporting the Commercial and Procurement Teams during tender reviews and interfacing with Facilities Management and Lifecycle teams to ensure maintainability of designs.
  • Providing ongoing support for the Site Delivery Team, responding to requests for information and technical queries in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Design Manager, demonstrating ability to successfully manage projects from conception to completion across various sectors and construction methods.
  • Working knowledge of Autocad and experience in a BIM environment is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Degree/HND/HNC in Building, Engineering or Architecture.
  • Professional qualification in Architecture, Engineering, Construction or Project Management would be desirable.
