Financial Operations Manager

Learning Partners Academy Trust is a collaborative Multi Academy Trust (MAT) built on partnerships with local schools working together in and around the Guildford area.
We are seeking an experienced finance professional to lead on delivering a new school-centred operational finance model. The updated model will enable the delivery of finance using a grouped school structure, ensuring financial resilience as the trust continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a finance operating model that ensures financial data accuracy, internal control frameworks are adhered to, and statutory and regulatory financial reporting requirements are met.
- Work with schools to develop and implement a model that meets financial needs and ensures financial resilience.
- Manage organisational finances effectively, including budget setting, financial planning and analysis, and cash flow management.
- Deliver and manage a change project, including the recommendation and implementation of new processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of the finance model.
- Degree educated with a relevant accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA).
- Experience of financial planning and analysis, including budget setting.
- Ability and knowledge to produce budgets, reports, cash flow and financial and statistical summaries.
- Able to deliver and manage a change project.
- Clear enthusiasm for making a positive difference to young people's lives.
