Senior Door Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Door Engineer to join our team at Work Lyf Group Limited in the North West / Lancashire area of England.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial door works, with a focus on servicing, installing, and repairing industrial and specialist doors, including roller shutters, sectional overhead doors, and rapid rise roll-up doors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Servicing and maintaining industrial and specialist doors to ensure optimal performance and safety
  • Installing new doors and gates, including roller shutters and sectional overhead doors
  • Repairing and diagnosing faults in industrial and specialist doors
  • Providing excellent customer service and communication
  • Working independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports, including time sheets and job sheets

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications in industrial door works
  • Previous experience in the industry, with a focus on door installation, repair, and maintenance
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects
  • Desirable qualifications include IPATH & CSCS, PASMA
