Commissioning Editor for Medicine and Health Journals

We are seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Editor to join our Content Acquisition Team at Taylor & Francis Group. As a Commissioning Editor, you will play a crucial role in identifying and acquiring high-quality article submissions for our portfolio of Medicine and Health journals.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct in-depth analysis of academic fields and growth areas to identify opportunities for article submissions
- Engage with researchers to build awareness of the benefits of publishing with Taylor & Francis
- Build strong relationships with researchers, journal Editors, and Editorial Boards to drive article submissions
- Commission high-quality content for a range of titles across our journal portfolio
- Liaise closely with editors, authors, and other key partners to ensure delivery of the content pipeline
- A relevant academic or working background across disciplines within Medicine and Health
- Experience working in academic publishing
- Able to work cooperatively with local and global colleagues at all levels
- A high level of computer literacy, including MS Office, Outlook, and internet browsers
- Active interest in open access, open data, and open science, as well as in publishing and related matters
