Geo-Environmental Engineer Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a Geo-Environmental Engineer to join a multidisciplinary engineering team on a variety of ground investigation and construction projects in the North and midlands.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Regularly attend and assist with site walkovers.
  2. Carry out site investigations.
  3. Soil and rock logging.
  4. Prepare phase plans.
  5. Carry out phase 1 Desk Studies.
  6. Write factual reports.
  7. Work on in situ testing.
  8. Observe day-to-day tasks to develop geo-environmental knowledge.

Requirements:

  1. Hold a minimum of a BSc in geology, geoscience, physical geography, environmental science or a relevant subject (MSc preferable).
  2. Be keen to learn and develop geo-environmental skills.
  3. Show enthusiasm for working outdoors in a hands-on role.
  4. Hold a full UK driving licence.
  5. Be commutable to Leeds.
  6. Have full right to work in the UK.
