About the RoleAuburn Group is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Buying Administrator to support the Buyer and Supply Chain Manager in our Buying department. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our purchasing processes.
Main Responsibilities- Process purchase orders and purchase materials and small orders from various suppliers
- Maintain the Supply Chain Register, including subcontractor key information and insurances
- Maintain the Asset Register, including plant and equipment
- Answer office phone calls and manage telephone queries
- Manage and file Waste Transfer Notices
- Perform ad hoc requests from the Buyer and Supply Chain Manager and other senior team members
- Basic social media posting and customer relationship management
- Creating company documents and H&S folders
- General department administration and office organization
- Educated to A-Level standard or equivalent
- At least 3 years' experience working in an admin role
- Construction industry experience is beneficial but not essential
- Competent with Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent organization and administration skills
- Excellent communication skills and telephone manner
