About the Role

Auburn Group is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Buying Administrator to support the Buyer and Supply Chain Manager in our Buying department. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our purchasing processes.

Main Responsibilities
  • Process purchase orders and purchase materials and small orders from various suppliers
  • Maintain the Supply Chain Register, including subcontractor key information and insurances
  • Maintain the Asset Register, including plant and equipment
  • Answer office phone calls and manage telephone queries
  • Manage and file Waste Transfer Notices
  • Perform ad hoc requests from the Buyer and Supply Chain Manager and other senior team members
  • Basic social media posting and customer relationship management
  • Creating company documents and H&S folders
  • General department administration and office organization
Requirements
  • Educated to A-Level standard or equivalent
  • At least 3 years' experience working in an admin role
  • Construction industry experience is beneficial but not essential
  • Competent with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent organization and administration skills
  • Excellent communication skills and telephone manner
