Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Mobile HVAC Engineer to join our team at Calibre Search. As a Mobile HVAC Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing commercial heating systems, as well as some air conditioning and other associated HVAC plant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across multiple sites.
  • Ensuring that all technical and compliance paperwork is completed and up to date.
  • Service and repair a range of mechanical equipment, including boilers, fans, pumps, air handling units (AHUs), and fan coil units (FCUs).
  • Safe working practices in relation to 3-phase and single-phase electrics and applications.
  • Carrying out surveys and completing reports as required by management.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar mobile role, traveling around the region from home.
  • Mechanical HVAC experience, including pumps, motors, and other related equipment.
  • Ability to deal directly with customers and on-site management teams.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Hands-on, can-do, and flexible approach to work.
  • Full driving license, as this is a mobile role.

Package:

  • Basic salary: £44,000 - £46,865.70.
  • Standby payment: £2,535.
  • Mon-Fri 45hr week.
  • Callout 1 in 4 weeks.
  • Paid travel time.
  • Overtime: 1.5x Monday - Friday, 2x weekends.
  • Company vehicle with private use.
  • Private healthcare.
  • Life insurance.
  • 33 days holiday.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • ACS Gas - COCN, CIGA, CORT, ICPN, CDGA, TPCP1, TPCP1A - Essential.

Desirable but not Essential:

  • City & Guilds 2079 F-Gas Category 1.
  • City & Guilds 17th or 18th Edition.
