About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced healthcare professional to fill the post of Immunisation Team Lead for Hounslow and Richmond Community NHS Healthcare Trust.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the Immunisation team, providing advice and support for the school immunisations team, and taking responsibility for the quality of the Greenwich immunisation programmes across these areas.

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing, auditing, and evaluating clinical services, as well as experience in public health or working with children. A post-registration qualification in school nursing/health visiting or equivalent qualifications or experience is also essential.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a commitment to the HRCH values (Care, Respect, Communication) and have good organisational and communication skills. A car user and clean driving licence is also essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Immunisation team
  • Provide advice and support for the school immunisations team
  • Take responsibility for the quality of the Greenwich immunisation programmes
  • Build local relationships and facilitate continuous learning and service improvement within the team

Requirements

  • Immunisations experience at band 6 senior nurse level
  • Experience in managing, auditing, and evaluating clinical services
  • Experience in public health or working with children
  • Post-registration qualification in school nursing/health visiting or equivalent qualifications or experience
  • Able to demonstrate a commitment to the HRCH values (Care, Respect, Communication)
  • Good organisational and communication skills
  • Car user and clean driving licence
