Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a well-established manufacturer, in their search for a skilled Laboratory Technician to work in a leading facility.
- Competitive salary of £26,520 per annum, dependent on experience

The Role:
- Initial testing of materials as they come off the production line, adhering to strict methodologies and quality control procedures
- Recording and analyzing results, comparing to target figures and identifying areas for improvement
- Quarantining and investigating issues with out-of-spec products, with a focus on problem-solving and root cause analysis
- Compiling weekly reports on key performance indicators and metrics
- Collaborating with the R&D team to analyze and set target figures for product tolerances
- Maintaining accurate records of raw materials and health and safety information on goods-in
- Assisting with internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Supporting the R&D team with formulation work and certification of products
- Preparing test specimens and samples, and calibrating and cleaning laboratory equipment
Requirements:
- Previous experience in laboratory or site testing is essential
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is required
