Job Opportunity: Embedded C++ Software Engineer

About the Role:

The Line Up Aviation team is seeking a skilled Embedded C++ Software Engineer to join them on a contract basis for an initial 6-month period. As an Embedded C++ Software Engineer, you will be responsible for architecting, designing, implementing, and testing missile subsystem software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop embedded software using C/C++ for Real-Time systems
  • Utilize model-based development, including UML or tools like IBM's Rhapsody
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Systems Engineering, Electronics, and Electrical, and Test and Validation
  • Engage in code and design reviews to ensure high-quality software
  • Communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders to meet project requirements

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in developing embedded software using C/C++
  • Knowledge of ADA and Python is a plus
  • Experience in model-based development and code quality
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
