About the Role

AECOM is seeking an experienced Associate Director Water Scientist/Hydrologist to join our Water Environment team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality projects and providing technical expertise in hydrology and water science.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Provide technical guidance and expertise in hydrology and water science, including water quality studies, hydrological investigations, and hydroecological studies.
  • Develop and implement innovative solutions to complex water environment challenges.
  • Collaborate with internal and external clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Manage and mentor junior team members, providing coaching and training to ensure their growth and development.
Requirements
  • Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant field, such as geography, physical sciences, or engineering.
  • Proven experience in hydrology and water science, with a strong understanding of hydrological software and environmental modeling.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in GIS software and report writing skills, with the ability to present complex technical information to a wide audience.
