Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Driver specializing in counterbalance operations to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the efficient management of goods within our warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurate receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Utilize forklift and pallet truck for the loading and unloading of cargo, as well as manual handling when necessary.
  • Load international groupage trailers following the designated plan.
  • Execute order picking, packing, wrapping, and unwrapping tasks effectively.
  • Conduct stock management and perform quality assurance checks.
  • Maintain accurate warehouse records and uphold cleanliness standards.
  • Complete daily operational tasks with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, with a preference for rotating shifts, totaling 42.5 hours per week.

Compensation: £12.43 per hour

Candidate Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse setting and possession of a valid forklift driving certification.
  • Capability to load international groupage trailers effectively.
  • Proficient in order picking and stock counting.
  • Basic skills in numeracy, literacy, and computer usage.
  • A collaborative team player with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to safety.
  • Able to perform under pressure while maintaining high standards.
