Job Summary:

24-7 Recruitment Services is seeking an experienced HGV Class Tramper Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics and transportation team, you will be responsible for making deliveries and collections to and from businesses across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver goods and materials to clients in a timely and efficient manner
  • Plan and optimize routes on a daily basis to ensure maximum productivity
  • Ensure all deliveries and collections are made on time and to the highest standard
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any issues to the transport team
  • Work closely with the network hubs to ensure seamless communication and coordination
  • Maintain regular contact with the transport team to update on progress and manage customer expectations

Requirements:

  • Must hold a valid UK Class 1 Driving Licence
  • Hold a current CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card
  • Experience in delivering loads directly to client sites is highly advantageous
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work to deadlines
  • Confident, polite, and a team player with good geographical knowledge
